intro to impro

Welcome to impro studio

Join us for our introduction to improvisation training! We invite you to experience with us, what it is like to turn up your natural curiosity, follow your spontaneous impulses and connect authentically through play and joy.

We gently emerse ourselves into states of possibilities and wonder through the conscious practice of improvisation. We will gradually explore relating improvisationally to ourselves, other people and our environment, thereby creating space to express who we really are.

You will be skillfuly led through a progression of group games and activities, carefully designed to free space in your body, soul and mind. By anchoring you in the present moment and connecting you with the group, we will support you as you familiarise yourself with your emerging improvisations.

Open to all, regardless of previous experiences. If you are interested in cultivating a playful, lighthearted, and honest connection with yourself, others and the world around you, then this is the course for you.

This introduction is not performance based and performers can surely benefit from practicing relating improvisationally to themselves, others, and their spaces.

"I felt more groovy, grounded and optimistic of possibility after the session. I attribute this to the friendly and encouraging vibe you spin.

The wonderful things that people offer when thinking on the hoof brought chuckles of recognition and sparks of inspiration."

Screenshot of a testimonial for impro studio

I'm always looking for oniline improv that has a certain kind of feel; connective, fun, inviting spaces. This turned out to be exactly that - connective, inviting, and fun.
