impro studio collects the following data:

    • History information such as which services of impro studio have been used

You directly provide impro studio with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online, over the phone, or in person for our services.

  • Pay for our services directly through bank transactions or Paypal.

  • Participate in our services such as workshops, trainings, and 1-2-1 coaching.

    • Unmute your microphone in the main Zoom room during a workshop or training course which is being recorded.
    • Write into the chat of our Zoom rooms by sharing with hosts and/or everyone in the meeting.

  • Sign up to our newsletter and/or follow us on social media.

  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey, comment on our blogs, or provide feedback on any of our message boards, social media or via email.

  • Contact us through the following channels: website, email, phone, SMS, social media or post.

How will we use your data?

impro studio collects your data so that we can:

  • use personal identification information to confirm your identity, process your order, manage your booking, billing, send you invoices and receipts, create participation certificates, contact you if necessary.

  • use personal identification information in order to respond to inquiries from customers and website users, for example about billing charges, payment status, service status.

  • use personal information volunteered by you to provide you with the best quality continuation of the service you booked.

  • use personal identification information to send you our newsletter and information about upcoming events and activities we think you may be interested in.

  • use personal identification information to decline the use of clients who violate the terms of use of our services, such as of payment or causing damage to a third party, or users who try to use the website service for illegal or unjustified purposes. In order to do so, the purpose of using information is for identifying the individual such as the usage pattern, name and address.

  • use recordings of our sessions for training purposes and to enhance our future offer.

Who handles your data:

Your data will only ever be handled by those people for whom it is strictly necessary to have access to certain parts of your data in order to do their job. Those third party people are for example our bookkeeper, webdeveloper, trainers of courses and coaches.

Except as otherwise disclosed to you, impro studio will not sell or rent your personal information to any third parties without notifying you of our intent to share the personal information.

How do we store your data?

Personal information collected by impro studio may be stored and processed in any country in which impro studio is located. impro studio stores data on company owned devices and third party software. By using impro studio's services and/or website, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.


impro studio uses the online software of the following companies:

  • Wix: impro studio is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications.

  • Google: impro studio uses several Google services. The information generated for example by using our website, emailing us, and completing our surveys will be transmitted to and stored by Google on their servers.

  • Microsoft Office

  • Kees de Boekhouder

  • Eventbrite

  • Zoom

impro studio is required by Dutch bookkeeping law to keep your personal identification information for 7 years.

Recording of sessions

We sometimes record the main Zoom room during our events, workshops, and training courses.

  • Only the hosts/trainers videos will be recorded.

  • If you unmute your microphone in the main Zoom room, then you give consent to us for recording your voice.

  • The breakout rooms will not be recorded.

  • The recordings are for internal use only and will not be shared publicly.

    • If we wish to share recordings publicly then we will ask for your consent ahead of recording and also after the session again.

    • We do not share any recording that includes your voice and/or image without your prior consent.

Marketing

impro studio would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like. To do this, we will use the name and e-mail address provided by you.

 

If you wish to receive our marketing, you can opt in to our newsletter via our website, our social media accounts, or when you sign up to any of our events, workshops, and trainings.

If you wish to sign up to our newsletter, you can do so on our contact page or by scrolling down to the website footer..

If you have agreed to receive marketing from impro studio, you may always opt out at a later date. You have the right at any time to stop impro studio from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted by us via newsletter, you can use the opt-out link at the bottom of any of our newsletter emails to unsubscribe, or you can let us know by messaging us through our contact form.

We use the bookkeeping services of Kees de Boekhouder. This means that our invoicing and financial information is handled through their platform and by our designated bookkeeper.

 

We will not provide your personal information to another third party without your prior consent, except in the following cases:

The information we collect may be disclosed when legally required to do so in order to comply with any valid legal process or request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation (such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, or court order), to verify or enforce compliance with the policies governing our services, website and applicable laws or to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our website.

  • (2) When it is necessary to protect the life, body or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person.
