By taking part in impro studio activities, signing up to our newsletter, and/or visiting improstudio.org, you are consenting to our Terms & Conditions, Cookies Policy, Disclaimer, and Privacy Policy.
General Information and Safety
The basis of impro studio's work is its relationships with its clients, based on professional, personal, and ethical responsibility.
impro studio does not provide therapy, emergency or on-call services. impro studio does not guarantee, promise, or take responsibility for a cure, fix/solving of problems, healing, or attainment of a specific result through participating in its activities. impro studio only takes responsibility for how its activities are conducted. By participating in impro studio's activities, you agree to take responsibility for your own actions. Engaging with impro studio can never take the place of regulated psychological and/or medical care and the people working at impro studio will never give you medical advice.
impro studio reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time without notice for any reason.
Covid-19: During COVID-19, impro studio is only operating online. Our programming content is either in a closed Zoom room, or from Zoom to a live stream on our social media platforms.

This privacy policy and this Cookies Policy explain how impro studio uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our services and/or our website. Costs, Payments, Refunds
Online and Offline Events and Trainings

All impro studio event bookings are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to change the host/instructor of any of our online events at any point in time

If you are unable to make your event due to illness, we will offer to transfer your credit to another session/course. This credit is valid for a period of 6 months for impro studio sessions only.

If we have to cancel a scheduled impro studio event for any reason, we will offer you a choice of either a replacement online event of the same value or a full refund.

Bookings may be transferred from one participant to another before the commencement of training, after first notifying us at least 48 hours before training begins. The new participant must have the necessary prerequisites for the training.

We will write back to confirm your credit transfer to a different event or a participant. Please wait for us to send this confirmation.

Online and Offline 1-2-1 Sessions
-
The first 30min conversation will be used to agree on a modality, reasonable time, period, and fee.
-
Our first conversation of 30min is always free and non-binding.

1-2-1 and Coaching
-
This is a professional relationship (not a legal business partnership) between the Coach and the Client in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the client.
-
It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional or business goals through practicing improvisation techniques.
-
All coachees are required to complete and sign an impro studio coaching agreement.
-
Coaching agreements will usually be made with a series of sessions in mind.
-

The calculated cost of sessions depends on a few factors
-
Time: 30, 60, 90 minute sessions
-
Number of participants: 1 or more than 1
-
Who is paying: employer, individual
-
Personal circumstances
-
If a client wishes to pay more than our suggested rate, we will gladly accept a higher rate in order to "pay it forward" to others in need.

Rates may be adjusted when we see a need to do so.
-
Adjustments in prices will be announced and discussed beforehand with enough time for clients to make the decision to continue or stop the agreement.

Existing agreements will be honoured.

Everyone who wishes to have an individual conversation will be sent a copy of our up-to-date Terms & Conditions.

All clients will be sent an invoice within 48h of their session. Invoices are to be paid within 14 days of the session having taken place.

Should a client fail to pay an invoice in time, impro studio may charge interest as late fees. There will soon be more info available here on how much this actually is.

Cancellations must be done via email or telephone.
-
Cancellations which occur 24h or longer before the session takes place will not be charged.
-
Cancellations which occur 24h or shorter before the session takes place will be fully charged.
-
No-shows without cancellations will also be fully charged.

Clients may discontinue the conversation relationship at any time.

Indemnity
By participating in impro studio's activities, you agree to take responsibility for your own actions.
impro studio is not responsible for any damage to you or your belongings resulting from attending impro studio's activities. This includes parking your vehicle, travelling to, entering the premises, or using the facilities provided.
You agree to hold harmless and indemnify improstudio.org, and authors from and against any third party claim arising from or in any way related to your use of the website, including any liability or expense arising from all claims, losses, damages (actual and consequential), suits, judgments, litigation costs and attorneys’ fees, of every kind and nature. In such a case, improstudio.org will provide you with written notice of such claim, suit or action.
Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that (a) all of the information provided by you to impro studio and/or improstudio.org to participate in the activities and/or website is correct and current; and (b) you have all necessary right, power and authority to enter into this Agreement and to perform the acts required of you hereunder.

You may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, create derivative works from, distribute, display, reproduce or perform, or in any way exploit in any format whatsoever any of the impro studio and improstudio.org content, in whole or in part without our prior written consent.
