IMPRO STUDIO MONDAY

This monthly meet-up is for anyone who wants to

- explore the core improvisation values

- get an insight into how we work at impro studio

- develop a value based practice

- calibrate their inner compass when chartering unknown territory

improvisation is not a matter of making anything specific happen, but rather one of opening a space where improvisation can occur.

Improvisation is at its best when our skills, resources and values converge to meet the needs of the current moment. Here is the moral compass

Improvisational practices allow us to learn more about our agency in life. Sharing our experiences allows us to learn together and help each other build a strong base and navigate difficult situations.

These meet-ups encourage you to follow your curiosity. Open to all, these sessions are suitable for first-time attendees as well as long-time improvisation practitioners.

we will provide a topic which we use to navigate the territory off the well-trodden path.

Each session is participatory and experiential in big groups and small breakout rooms. We will engage in playful collaborative activities designed to facilitate co-creation. You will be invited to listen and share spontaneously from your heart and imagination.

what people say

I feel you create a container for playfulness, experimentation, thought and newness which is produced through a combination of all those participating. To be part of the session means playing with ideas, some familiar seeds, some novel - and with those seeds tended to, comes so much wishing far beyond the drop-in.

- Davina Burgess

I'm always looking for online improv that has a certain kind of feel; connective, fun, inviting spaces. This turned out to be exactly that - connective, inviting, and fun!

- Taj Baker

I am enjoying the depth of the work and play, and the variation of the exploration. The interchange with the participants is brilliant. It is a growing portal to this wonderful philosophy of developing the collaboration between people being encouraged, and allowed to express and experience their deeper authentic selves.
