The good news is that

from outside of you,

life can move us toward

an interesting story to tell.

living stories

Join us on a virtual journey through the lands of metaphor and wonder. In this course we will craft, navigate, and learn from the stories that express who we are and how we relate to our world. Perhaps you want to use storytelling as part of working with clients and students. Or maybe you long for a fresh perspective on daily currents and trends.

Our lens is the connection between the stories that we live and the stories that we tell. We will explore what our life looks, smells, moves, feels, and sounds like. Where do stories come alive? Who do we meet along the way? And how do we respond to what we encounter?

The art of storytelling allows us to learn more about our place in the universe. Sharing stories teaches us how to balance the belief in our own control and surrender to what is. â€‹

This course encourages you to follow your curiosity. Open to all, we will gently guide you as you navigate the territory off the well-trodden path.

We will travel with and beyond heroes, forests and monsters, deep into our memories of the past, present, and dream worlds.

Throughout six sessions you will experience the continuous flow of weaving and being woven into each other's narratives. Each session is participatory and experiential in big groups and small breakout rooms. We will engage in playful collaborative activities designed to facilitate co-creation. You will be invited to listen and share spontaneously from your heart and imagination.

Especially if you believe that you have never told a 'good' story before or haven't the slightest clue where to begin to tell a tale, this is a great place to start. And if you're a seasoned storyteller, you know there's always another path yet to be discovered.

There is no story that ends all stories. This is just the beginning of a new one...

what people say

I feel you create a container for playfulness, experimentation, thought and newness which is produced through a combination of all those participating. To be part of the session means playing with ideas, some familiar seeds, some novel - and with those seeds tended to, comes so much wishing far beyond the drop-in.

- Davina Burgess

I'm always looking for online improv that has a certain kind of feel; connective, fun, inviting spaces. This turned out to be exactly that - connective, inviting, and fun.

- Taj Baker

I am enjoying the depth of the work and play, and the variation of the exploration. The interchange with the participants is brilliant. It is a growing portal to this wonderful philosophy of developing the collaboration between people being encouraged, and allowed to express and experience their deeper authentic selves.
