I have been practising theatre based improvisation for 40 years - yikes, eek, ay yes, I am old, enough to know we are all practising improvisation everyday and in every possible way. I am part of a worldwide improv practice called Playback Theatre which uses improv in response to listening to audience life stories and spontaneously reinterpreting into theatre. Its intimate and playful and is used all over the world in a myriad of contexts to enable spaces of deep listening to one another.
